VII Still more lovely works of art that have come my way! Check out what's been in my mailbox lately! Lots of images, so be patient while they load! It's worth the wait!
This card from Pilar is lovely! She's used two text stamps for the background, and mounted the Codex letters A R T on top of that. The word Vision, from the aMUSEments sheet is stamped into UTEE (I think!) and the 3-d effect is wonderful!
Here are two more cards from Pilar, using alphabet and words stamps, and a couple of texts for the backgrounds! She's also used an inTAGlio tag on the bottom one, and riveted it to her card with eyelets, I love it!
LOOK! Another card I KNEW I had, but alas, could I find it when I wanted it?? NOOOOOOO.....Steph made this one with the small It's My Type alphabet, and it's so delicate and lovely! THANKS, Steph!!
LOOK! Jin's card uses the Codex alphabet and words from the aMUSEments sheet there on the background (I think stamped with a Versamark pad, for that shadow look.) THANKS, Jin! This is lovely! (Artist: Jin Yong)
This one's another BIG one from Bette Ann! She uses the large Harting II alphabet to make the entire sheet into a Christmas Card! I love the simplicity of it, and how the words are such a HUGE part of the piece!
This card is so stunning, the colors are amazing! Deborah has stamped the word CREATE. and has then watercolored the image, and mounted it on the dark background. The effect is lovely!!
I got these tags at different times from Maureen Blackman, and I just love them all! Maureen is in the UK, and doesn't have internet access, so if you know her, tell her you saw her artwork here, and how much we love it!
I just received these from Lisa this month, and both are so wonderful! That Codex ART image is a favorite of everyone's, I think, and I totally love her use of the Quill Diagram! Thanks, Lisa!!
This card from Sabine I think uses what's called the Grid Technique (someone correct me on that if I'm wrong!) and I think it lends itself so well to the ART image! I love the bright colors and the other images, too!
Here's a beautiful piece of work that Phyllis made using glassine envelopes! I loved the layered effect with all of the various images showing through! Thanks for the scan, Phyl! (Artist: Phyllis Capp)
Look at this awesome necklace that Linda sent me! Made with a domino, she's covered it with tissue paper that's been colored and stamped (that's the small A&P number 3!) and the effect is lovely!! Thank you, thank you, thank, you!!! (It's so gorgeous, you have to see both sides!) (Artist: Linda Eustace)
