IV MORE lovely artwork is arriving daily! I can't keep up with it all! Scroll down to view these creations by more awesome artists! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In Denise's cards below, she's used the glassine envelope as a pocket, with the artwork or enclosed item showing through. The top card is made using a postage stamp display pocket, and the glassines are slipped into the various pockets on the card, and in the card on the bottom, she's used a library card pocket, I love it! The glassine envelope is riveted onto the pocket using tiny brass brads!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ David has created a gorgeous postal themed tag, below, and has used the glassine envelopes as actual envelopes with little pieces of mail spilling out of them! At the bottom, he's used an envelope as a body for his funky art doll!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ On the folding card below, Pam has used the Codex alphabet on the envelopes, and has little stamped art offerings spilling out of them! She's also used the Codex font to print out the words on the envelopes, which I love! This is such a lovely card, and the scan doesn't do it justice!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ These cool cards are in two of my favorite themes, Asian and falling leaves! Norma attached the glassines to both of these pieces, and has oriental characters and leaves inserted in them! I love having little items of any kind in these envelopes, just peeking through the translucent paper! Awesome!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Look at these lovely tag art pieces by Carlotta Pengelley! One has an ART theme, with an arty postage stamp peeking out of its envelope, the other with a key, and the CODEX letter K stamped on a round tag and inserted in the envelope! Awesome!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ WOW, have a look at these wonderful works of art by Deb Kroese! The first is a tag art piece, I've shown it both folded up and in its pocket, and unfolded, so you can see all of the wonderful art! I love how it's got the playing cards spilling out of the envelopes!
Here is another piece, also by Deb, it's a wonderful booklet! I've scanned it both closed, so you can see the front, and open, so you can see a page inside! She's used an ART theme, and the glassines hold the CODEX alphabet letters A, R, and T! One of my favorite themes of all!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This lovely book was made by Fran Saperstein, and she kindly photographed it for me, too! I love the Muse theme, and the gorgeous woman images that are showing through the glassines!
I'll be adding more as it arrives, so keep your eyes peeled! And feel free to send me YOUR work to share!
