22 You are going to love these TINY envelopes, for LOTS of BIG reasons! They're great for putting things IN, like for found objects in your journals, for keepsakes and mementos in your scrapbooks, and for your artistamps, but they're great for artwork, too! Stick some postage stamps or a little piece of map in one on a travel collage. Put a dried and pressed flower in one on a floral tag. Tuck a tiny love letter inside one on a romantic card! These aren't clear, but translucent, making whatever you put inside just peek through until you take it out! I love the effect! These are very small, perfect for your tiniest offerings! They have lovely rounded flaps, which are NOT gummed. See the picture below for the sizes and prices! **Artwork is HERE!! Scroll down past the envelopes to see! I have a lot of people making art to share with you using these little envelopes, and these are the first to arrive! I will be adding more and rotating them so you can see lots of samples from lots of talented artists!**
Check out the new size on the smallest one, the AC-0006, it's slightly bigger now!

Glassines Sampler Pack - 10 of each size - #AC-0007 - $3.85 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'M SO HAPPY TO HAVE FOUND THESE, I'M JUMPING FOR JOY!! They're finally here! They're bigger than the first ones, and they're SQUARE! Four new sizes to choose from, as well as a sampler pack of all four sizes to try! The same beautiful glassine as before, only bigger, and guess what?? The largest one, the 5.5" x 5.5" one, you can MAIL stuff in that! (A caveat about mailing, though: the post office doesn't particularly think it's hip to be square, you have to use extra postage on them!) ** These are ungummed, and for mailing I use a strip of double stick tape on the flap **
Square Glassines 2.75" x 2.75"- 25 Pack - #AC-0012 - $2.75 Square Glassines 3.5" x 3.5"- 25 Pack - #AC-0013 - $3.25 Square Glassines 4" x 4"- 25 Pack - #AC-0014 - $3.85 Square Glassines 5.5" x 5.5"- 25 Pack - #AC-0015 - $4.85 Hip To Be Square Sampler Pack - 10 of each new size - #AC-0016 - $5.85
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In Brenda's card at the left, she's inserted a card with a Codex letter M (for Mermaid!) in the envelope, and it's just peeking through! On the tag, she's addressed the envelope and has layered a little note over it. I think both effects are lovely!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ On Shannon's tag, at the right below, the tiny round tag was actually inserted in the envelope and just the fibers were showing out of the corner. I've taken the tag out so you can see both the tag and the stamping on the envelope. On the card at the left, there is a tag in each envelope, with letters A, R, and T! Gorgeous!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This large collage has NINE square glassines, colored and layered onto brown cardstock, which is then layered onto the stamped and painted background. Each one has something different inserted into it! Karenann punched a round hole in each one so you can peek inside! There are stamps, a candy wrapper, a tiny tag, a photo, and my fave, in the upper right corner, a round copper-colored token that has the word "WISH" embossed on it! Each envelope is attached by the flap on the back, and can be opened, and the treasure inside can be removed and handled! Awesome!!
These two smaller pieces also have the glassines colored and collaged onto them. The tag has the glassine envelope attached to it with photo mount corners, and an antique looking wedding photo inserted into it. The envelope has had an oval shaped window cut into it to frame the face. Beautiful!! On the other piece, the envelope has been SEWN onto the card with red thread and beads, and a tiny Queen of Hearts playing card has been inserted and is peeking out through a heart shaped opening she's cut into it! It's amazing all the different things that can be done with these!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ These samples by Christine are marvelous, don't you think?? She uses the glassines as part of her design, and there is artwork in each one, which you can take out and look at, I love this! You can see the artwork showing through, and I've pulled one part way out to show it.
