This is a very old diagram that someone named Wolfgang Fugger did in 1583, showing his method of cutting a quill pen. I don't know if ANYONE will be as smitten by this image as I've always been, but here it is! Dimensions of the stamp are 3" x 4 5/8".

Here's a bit of French text I've always loved, circa 1471. Not sure what it says, but I just think the calligraphy is beautiful. Dimensions of the stamp are 2 5/8" x 4".

I love number stamps, and here's a little set of five stamps, derived from the Fugger's Quill Diagram stamp above. For reference, the line of numbers along the bottom measures about 4" long. I love how every N is different. (Notice that there is no "No. 1" stamp, since there isn't one in the diagram!)
